Wait for the 2012 Camry if you want the all-new, next-generation version of a midsize car that’s defined good transportation value. The 2012 Camry will also be further distanced from Toyota’s recall catastrophe, and that should benefit its residuals. Buy a 2011 Camry if you’re in immediate need of a roomy sedan whose main surprise may be just how refined it really is. The 2011 Camry should carry juicy discounts as Toyota tries to make up for sales lost during the recall and as dealers clear inventories for the all-new 2012 model. The best way to get the full value from a 2011 Camry would be to keep it for more than six years or so, beyond the point at which resale prices would be tarnished by the unintended acceleration mess.
Styling: The 2011 Toyota Camry will carry over appearance changes given the 2010 Camry, the first for this design generation since it debuted for model-year 2007. As before, Camry comes in a single four-door sedan body style that begins with a base CE model and climbs through the volume-selling LE trim, sporty SE grade, and top-of-the-line XLE model. Slotted between the LE and XLE is the 2011 Camry Hybrid. Style changes associated with the 2010 mid-cycle freshening were mild. All models got gently revised grilles and all but the Hybrid gained larger headlamps and revised taillamps. New wheel designs were part of the updates. Camry’s styling doesn’t look dated but it might look dowdy next to aggressive new sheet metal worn by the redesigned 2011 Hyundai Sonata and the fresher face of the 2010 Ford Fusion. To distinguish the Camry SE model from other Camrys Toyota gives it’s a black instead of silver grill, fog lamps, and subtle aero body addenda. Dimensionally, the 2011 Camry is square in the middle of the midsize-sedan field, but it makes wonderfully efficient use of cabin space. Camry is Toyota’s best-selling car and for calendar 2009 – before the unintended acceleration controversy – it was America’s top-selling car, too. Its basic structure is engineered to serve Lexus, Toyota’s premium division, where it’s the foundation for that brand’s most popular car, the ES 350. That helps account for Camry’s uncommon ability to isolate occupants from unwanted noise and unpleasant road surfaces.

From behind the wheel: Drive it like you understand it, and no other midpriced midsize can match Camry’s refinement. That said, no 2011 Camry will never be confused with a sports sedan. This car aims for -- and delivers with great success -- a stable, predictable driving experience. The four-cylinder engine satisfies virtually any everyday acceleration need, and the smooth V-6 exceeds most.

The Basics
The Toyota Camry might be the longtime best-seller among mid-size sedans, but most would argue that it didn't get there with its looks. The Camry got a very minor facelift last year but carries into 2011 mostly unchanged since the current seventh generation's debut in 2007. Inside, too, the design remains a little understated and conservative yet upscale—although somewhat drab materials let the execution down.
With those two engines and seven different models in all, ranging from the base (and quite stark) CE model to the sporty SE and luxurious XLE, the 2011 Toyota Camry can satisfy almost any mid-size sedan shopper's need. That said, these combination are always competent, seldom exciting.
A 268-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 remains available. Otherwise, the 2.5-liter four-cylinder makes 169 hp in most models but 179 in the Camry SE. Four-cylinder Camry models come with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, while the V-6 comes only with the automatic. The four-cylinder engine has plenty of power for most types of driving, but the V-6 is the choice for those who often travel with a full load or need strong high-speed passing ability. With either engine, the six-speed automatic is quick to react yet smooth-shifting. The auto also features a manual-shift mode, but with the Camry's relaxed driving feel you might as well leave it in Drive.
A Camry Hybrid model is also offered; it combines a 147-hp, 2.4-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine with an electronically controlled planetary-gear transmission setup and Hybrid Synergy Drive (with an electric motor system) to altogether make 187 hp. Considering the extra weight of the Camry, it delivers performance that's about on par with the four-cylinder Camry models, but with even better fuel economy.
The 2011 Toyota Camry has a very roomy interior, with plenty of legroom in back for most adults and enough space for five. Front seats are wide and soft but lack much support, while rear seats are extremely comfortable and have larger proportions than those in some other mid-size cars; adults will feel comfortable enough for road trips back there.
Base and LE Camry models can be optioned with an upgraded audio system with Bluetooth, a USB port, MP3, and streaming music capability. A 440-watt JBL audio system (with Bluetooth technology) is standard on the XLE, as are keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, heated mirrors, and a garage-door opener. A DVD-based navigation system, heated seats, leather upholstery, and a Smart Key entry system with push-button start are all optional on the XLE and SE. But beware, a fully loaded 2011 Camry can top $30k.

The predecessor tuners have released their Porsche 996 997 conversion program that is based on the Essen Motor Show 2009 GT3 package. Currently Club VR4 is the worlds number one Website dedicated to the 8g Mitsubishi Galant VR4 and the 8g Mitsubishi Legnum VR4.
Although we are primarily focused on the 8th Generation Mitsubishi Galant and Mitsubishi Legnum VR4's, we have an ever increasing number of standard Mitsubishi Galant and Legnum owners joining the club. Including the Mitsubishi Galant GLS, Mitsubishi Legnum GLS, Mitsubishi Galant V6 2.5, Mitsubishi Legnum V6 2.5, to name but a few.
Originally Club VR4 was setup to help Mitsubishi Galant VR4 and Mitsubishi Legnum VR4 owners in the UK. However, after only weeks it became evident that our New Zealand counterparts were equally as dominant in the Mitsubishi Galant Mitsubishi Legnum front. Due to the popularity of Club VR4 in New Zealand, we saw the birth of the New Zealand Club VR4 committee at the end of 2004.

The Lamborghini Murciélago has been introduced back in September 2001 as the 6.2 model, in March 2004 the amazing Roadster derivative saw the light during the Geneva Auto Show, only two years later the same Geneva show saw the unveiling of the impressive LP640 model, a masterpiece with 640 Bhp. People didn't have to wait too long to have the open top version of this new flagship, in December 2006 the LP640 Roadster became available. These days the Murciélago is still selling steadily as the only V12 available from Automobile Lamborghini SpA, but they are already thinking about a successor naturally.
Being part of the Audi AG has it's advantages, lately a black LP640 has been seen around test tracks in Germany with some strange additions on it, the wheels are covered with special caps to obtain data valuable in a testing environment, but the biggest give-away on this black Bull are the wide front wheel arches ... it is obvious the track has been widened at the front, which could mean there is a different chassis underneath the well known body.
Another strange detail, the license plates on this test bed when it was seen near the Nurnburgring were registered to Quattro GmbH, a very well known subsidiary of Audi AG that gave us the impressive Audi R8, apparently they are now focusing their attention on improving the Raging Bull even further. So what are they doing with this black Murciélago look alike ?
Naturally no details are officially available, and judging by how well Automobile Lamborghini SpA kept both the Reventón and the Estoque a secret until days before the public unveiling, I doubt very much we'll be seeing anything 'in writing' about this flagship replacement. Naturally the rumors have been going around the Internet for a while now, and one thing they all have in common is the name : the new crown jewel from Sant'Agata could be called 'JOTA', a name used in the past on the one of a kind Miura race car built by Bob Wallace and again on the special edition of the Diablo SE 30 model, when a Jota kit was available to pump even more power out of the V12 engine.
Other than that is is obvious the new Lamborghini will feature a Carbon Fiber tub instead of the current steel space frame, however the front and rear sub frames will probably still be using steel on the new car, the Jota (if that will be it's name) will also be larger and used considerably bigger tires, today the Murciélago still rides on 18-inch ones, but looking at the rare spy photo's it is obvious the wheels are bigger on this test car.
Rumors are the V12 as we know it, and that can be linked back to the very first 350GTV engine from the early Sixties will be abandoned and replaced by an all-new unit, still V12 but now with 'only' 6-liter displacement but pumping out a healthy 700 Bhp or more by using completely new electronics and a new production system for this new Super Bull.
As always we'll have to be patient to see what Sant'Agata has in store for us, but voices 'in the know' talk about an unveiling as early as the 2010 Geneva Auto Show, with the successful Roadster evolution available later the same year ... could be Paris, can't wait to see this.
If you don't have the patience to wait another two years, you could get lucky in a few months already, the long awaited SuperVeloce edition of the Murciélago LP640 is still being considered, and the latest 'Intel' mentions that it could very well be among us in early 2009, probably at the Geneva Auto Show ... Automobile Lamborghini SpA has vouched it would be showing one new model every year so hopes are high for 2009, the Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder is still eagerly awaited, but other specials based on the V10 model could be shown too, however a Superlative version is very unlikely.
In a continuation of Lamborghini's tradition of giving its cars names from the world of bullfighting, the Murciélago was named for a fighting bull that survived 28 sword strokes in an 1879 fight against Rafael "El Lagartijo" Molina Sanchez, at the Coso de los califas bullring in Córdoba, Spain. Murciélago fought with such passion and spirit that the matador chose to spare its life, a rare honor. The bull, which came from Joaquin del Val di Navarra's farm, was later presented as a gift to Don Antonio Miura, a noted local breeder; thus began the famed Miura line of fighting bulls, which provided the name for one of Lamborghini's first great cars.Murciélago is the Spanish name for the bat. The word is pronounced [murθiˈelaɣo], with a voiceless dental fricative [θ] (as in English thing), in the Castilian Spanish spoken in most of Spain. However, the Italian automaker often uses the Southern Spain and Latin American Spanish pronunciation, [mursiˈelaɣo], with an [s] sound.
Lamborghini Murcielago is powered by 6.5L V12 gasoline engine, which pumps out a maximum power of 640 hp @ 8000 rpm and torque of 660 Nm @ 6000 rpm. It accelerates from 0-60 mph within just 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 224 mph. The car features an all-wheel drive system and 6-speed manual transmission, with overdrive that delivers seamless gear shifts.
